Keikigrow Plus is the original keiki paste developed over 30 years ago by Dr James Brasch of Plant Hormones Canada while researching at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.

Keikigrow Plus can be used to induce keikis on Phalaenopsis Orchid flower spikes or produce new shoots on orchid bulbs or growths. It can also be used to propagate Cacti, African Violet chimeras, Nepenthes, carnivorous plants and many other plants.

This Keikigrow Plus is the same as that supplied in cream jars but with softer lanolin.

 

Keikiroot is the original keiki rooting paste developed by Dr James Brasch of Plant Hormones Canada. Keikiroot is used to produce roots on keikis that have been produced on Phalaenopsis orchid flower spikes using KeikiGrow Plus . Usually Keikigrow Plus induces Keikis which naturally produce roots however some Phalaenopsis plants produce the keikis on their spikes without roots. If the keikis are removed without any roots they usually will not grow or take a very long time to produce roots. This situation can be overcome by applying Keikiroot to the base of the keiki while it is still on the flower spike.

If you are inducing several keikis on a Phalaenopsis flower spike, wait until all have formed before applying Keikiroot. Keikiroot will inhibit new keikis from forming.

FLORAL BOOST is a hormone paste developed by Dr James Brasch of Plant Hormones Canada. FLORAL BOOST is used in the same way as Keikigrow Plus but instead of inducing keikis to form from buds on Phalaenopsis flower spikes it induces branched spikes. You can even treat the buds on secondary flower spikes to produce double branched spikes and a plant with multi branched spikes.

Stoprot is the original antifungal paste developed by Dr James Brasch of Plant Hormones Canada. Keikigrow Products Stoprot can be used treat fungal leaf spot rot on Phalaenopsis orchid leaves. In cooler conditions Phalaenopsis orchids can develop spots of fungal disease on their leaves. If left untreated these spots can spread to damage the entire leaf or worse the plant itself. If you remove the entire leaf to control the fungal damage the plant can suffer a set back because Phalaenopsis frequently have only a few leaves and do not have any bulbs to store energy.

To treat your leaf, cut a circle around the fungal damaged area at least 2cm larger than the obvious damage to make certain that all the damaged tissue is removed. Then apply Stoprot to the entire cut surface and your problem should be solved. Stoprot is based on a simple Bordeaux mixture and therefore does not contain any modern fungicides. Because Stoprot is in lanolin is will stay on your leaf and will not wash off in the rain.

PAPH GROW is similar to Keikigrow Plus, but specifically formulated for Paphiopedilum orchids. Paph Grow was developed by Dr James Brasch of Plant Hormones Canada. Paph Grow is used to induce new growths to form at the base of Paphiopedilum orchids. Many Paphiopedilums are reluctant to produce new growths and Paph Grow overcomes this drawback. Paph Grow can also be used to get old back growths to reshoot.
